The new version contains many new features and reports that will be added to the current version

ZATCA launches Developer Portal for E-Invoicing

Electronic invoicing will be rolled-out in two phases in KSA (more details about the phases here [link to the following page]). For the first phase, enforceable as of December 4th, 2021, for all taxpayers (excluding non-resident taxpayers), and any other parties issuing tax invoices on behalf of suppliers subject to VAT, electronic invoice issuance will be very similar to today, with invoices issued through a compliant electronic solution and including additional fields depending on the type of the transaction

About the project that will be launched

Updating the Council’s operational model in line with the 2024 strategy, including developing and raising the competencies of the Council’s employees to support, organize work and raise production efficiency. The project includes intensive training programs to raise the skills and the required knowledge in order to perform work which contributes to achieving the Council’s goals.

RSD

The Saudi Food & Drug Authority initiated Drug Track and Trace System for pharmaceutical products (RSD) as one of its plans to contribute in achieving the kingdom’s Vision 2030 by adopting new technologies for tracking all human drugs manufactured in Saudi Arabia and imported from abroad.

Drug Track and Trace enhances Saudi Food & Drug Authority’s role in protecting society and guaranteeing the safety of all drugs by knowing their origin starting from manufacturing phase until consumption.
